- This Installation & Service Engineer role demands a comprehensive understanding of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems and is accountable for the seamless installation, maintenance and servicing of customer specific air and water solutions.
- Install bespoke air and water systems ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards. This includes inspection and testing of installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance and servicing of HVAC, plumbing and electrical components of air and water systems to ensure maximum functionality. This incorporates diagnostic assessment, troubleshooting and repairing system issues promptly and efficiently.
- Liaise with customers to explain system functions, maintenance procedures and answer technical queries and prepare detailed service records and reports.
- Adhere to relevant safety protocols and regulatory guidelines during installation and servicing activities (including conducting safety inspections and risk assessments regularly.
- Diploma or equivalent, associate degree or technical certification in HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems (eg. NATE, EPA 608) and 3-5 years’ experience gained in a manufacturing environment installing and servicing air and water systems, working with customers in a servicing capacity.
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills combined with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Knowledge of IoT and smart technologies as applicable to air and water systems.
- Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written with full Australian working rights with experience in Australia.
