This organisation is a top international medical device company who are leaders in their very niche field. They are represented in over 25 countries and operate in 3 markets in the healthcare space.

They are looking for a Melbourne based Account Manager/Product Sales Specialist who is seeking something different and very niche to look after a Melbourne West territory. With a focus on the development of new business and account management, this position will take you to the next level of your sales career.

This is an opportunity for a dynamic surgical sales professional, who is very driven, to join this surgical ophthalmology team, based in Melbourne, looking after accounts across metro West Melbourne with regional travel every few months to Echuca, Ballarat, Swan Hill, Bendigo, Albury & surrounds. You will be responsible for sales and ongoing support of this ophthalmic product portfolio including supporting ophthalmologists in operating theatre, clinical training and education.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include achieving set sales targets and developing new business while delivering outstanding customer service in the operating theatre environment. The role will have a strong mix of account management, clinical support and business development and you will build strong relationships with your customers and provide technical product support to ophthalmic surgeons, orthoptists, clinical and clerical staff.

If you have medical device industry sales experience, in the surgical/operating theatre environment and are super driven by sales success, and you are a quick learner with the aptitude to attain and transfer technical information we would like to talk to you asap.
